Difference between Jakarta and JSLT

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
When we say Jakarta is reference implementation....what does that mean?
What is the difference in JSTL and jakarta tag libraries?
Can u download JSLT from sun and what does that contain and what does jakarta contain?

Which Jakarta tag libraries are you asking about? There are many.
If you are asking about the Jakarta JSTL implementation specifically, then I do not understand your question. How can you compare the JSTL against itself?
And no, Sun provides no implementation of the JSTL.

Then why do we have to download the specifications for jslt from sun?

"priya",
Apparently you have changed your display name from something that is valid to one that is not.
There aren't many rules you'll have to worry about here at the ranch, but one is that proper names are required. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and change your display name to match it.
In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.
Thanks!

As far as I know, JavaRanch does not provide email accounts. But you can add an existing email address by clicking on the My Profile link on the top and chosing update profile
