How can i be sure that the session is invalidate . I am aware of the servlet thing doing it,but i want to know if there is another way to do it

If you have truly called invalidate() on a session, the next time you try to do getAttribute() there will be an exception thrown. Probably your program flow is not what you think it is.

Are you calling session.setAttribute() on your page?
This will put objects in new session, which is autamatically created, when the request is sent again to the server.(after invaliating previous session).
