Has anyone here used JSF for any projects or done any testing with it? I'd be interested in hearing some opinions of its actual use.

I have built several smallish applications and found it to be simpler for simple apps than Struts. The current RI is still not quite production ready. It is very close but hard to debug at times when some part of the configuration is off. From the beta read me it looks like most of that will be addressed with the integration of logging. So I'd say the best way to get into it is to grab the RI and start building. You should be able to get 3 or 4 pages put together an hit the DB in 4 to 6 hrs. There is also an open source implementation of JSF called myfaces on SourceForge that is easier to debug since you have the source.

Rather than this tutorial, is there any other to try?
Can anyone provide some good tutorial links about JSF here? Thanks a lot...

Yeah, maybe when their site works again. It's been down all day.
