Even thoug we cannot find the level of the book in the book's official site, I do hope that the book is for those who are already familiar with J2EE... Even though one does not need to be expert in J2EE, he/she should know the fundamentals of JSPs and Servlets to easily fetch the knowledge from the book...
I also hope that the author will reply to this question... And I am waiting for it...

Hi All,
Great question! This book is focused on JSF beginners and assumes at least an understanding of JSP/Servlet and J2EE. One of the chapters takes you through building a J2EE app that is built two ways, two tier (web tier and db) and three tier (web tier, ejb tier, db) so that you can see how to hook the app up in both circumstances.
Hope this helps. I'm also hoping to have a sample chapter up somewhere RSN. I'll post back to let you all know.
