Just finished pushing Struts to my new team - did I make a mistake?

I'm a new senior tech on a set of apps using MVC1 on WAS5 and just spent several weeks, three documents and one presentation pushing Struts.
They finally went for it.
Did I just screw myself up? What is the timeframe for JSF? Seems to me Struts was doing just fine and even had ways for a richer GUI.

Hi Max,
Don't start sprucing up your resume just yet
Struts is a great, mature piece of software, you did not go wrong at all. Your apps will function well and have very nice UI's.
JSF will be ready for prime time in the next 6 months or so. Assuming that your presence will serve to accelerate the rate of change for the group you lead I'd say your are safe doing struts for a year then when your team upgrades to WASD 5.2 or 6 or whatever had JSF out of the box you could start to make the push to use the tooling that comes with it for newer projects.
Hope this helps.

He probably meant WSAD5 - WebSphere Studio Application Developer 5. IBM's IDE for WebSphere.

I was under the impression that JSF was compatible with struts (especially since one of the main guys involved with struts is also heavily involved with JSF). Any comments on this?
Struts is an excellent framework and we use it. Integration with tiles and templates are fantastic. There is still some things that bother about struts but overall are apps are stable and consistently on time.
No mistake at all.
