I browsed through the other questions, and I don't remember seeing this one. If I am wrong, just link me to the other discussion.
Bill, does your book cover creating Custom UI Components and their tags? If so, what type of component did you choose for your example of this, if there is one.

Hi Greg,
Yes there is a whole chapter devoted to building a component. I started with a calendar then ran out of page count
I scaled back to a scroller wheel type component. You give it a list of options and it will scroll up and down through that list as a circularly linked list.
I'm hoping to have all the code available in the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye on my blog for the announcement.

Great! I wish you would have finished the Calendar. I am probably going to use JSF for a project and I forsee a calendar.
