i encounter this error when i run TestBean.jsp
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Beans.Counter
my host is using tomcat v5.
i used to have the same problem on my computer with tomcat 4.1. i read the forums and found out that i should use packages for some reason. i did and the jsp file worked fine. when i uploaded the same file to my site, i had the error again.
since i did not change the jsp file, and i know that i uploaded the class file in the property directory, the problem might be in the version of the tomcat. but im not sure.
what do you think?

Tomcat 5 works the same as earlier versions with respect to finding bean classes. Something must be different - are you sure your TestBean.jsp is in the right web application?
