Version Control Using JSP

I m going through a project module which says : We need to keep version control on the files submitted by user into our application. Total tracking of activities done on any file or folder.Just as VSS but in my case using JSP only.As all other modules are developed in jsp. So any Match ? Kindly reply

Your JSP could be a front end for the "real" version control system. If you can't do that, you would have to write your own file based one.

Thanx Jeanne Boyarsky. But can u reply i more details what should be the steps to get all Cvs functionality(or some other like it) into jsp as my all other modules are running on JSP and so there is no point in having cvs module as seperate application. Please help

Wow. You are asking quite a lot here Luv Bhatia. Questions: Have you already written your CVS application? Is it written in Java? If the answer is no to either, then I'm afraid I think the only steps you would need to take is to go away and write a funtional specification, then implement the application from this.

Question should be

but as such i am not able collect how this can be done Using JSP and Java. Can u tell me how it can be achieved ?
