You never learn how cool you really are until you find yourself in the middle of an awkward situation.

Everybody can look cool if all they ever experience is smooth situations, but an awkward situation is the opportunity to rise above the masses.

Through a series of awkward situations, you learn who is cool and who is icky.

Just felt like sharing.

("the cowboy way" is a reference to a radio show I used to listen to: Riders in the Sky Radio Theater)

Usually "The Cowboy Way" is definitely the way to find out how cool you really are. Particularly as it is/was portrayed in the movie with the same name. So, for those of us with the "Cowboy Up" mentality, remember usually your cool factor gets determined by some unassuming fella about 5'7 & 125# (I'm 6' & 200#) ready, able, and willing to give you an attitude adjustment - now that's way cool and definitely and 'awkward situation'
