.jsp and Sun One ASP

I know, I didn't believe it myself until I read read it on Sun's site:
Sun One ASP will run java. I did not load anything to run java and a Friend told me that he just uploaded a java class on the server and it ran.
He sent me the link to Sun One ASP that shows it will run java...
Great!
The question I have is will .jsp run? I tried a simple example from a book and the .java from that book works however the .jsp doesn't run.
It just displays the code it doen't even process the HTML.
Can I just run tomcat with sun one ASP?
