Hello everyone,

I'm rather new to the realm of JSP. I'm currently working on a project in which JavaScript is prohibited. However, I need to open up a new window (smaller, without the toolbars, etc.) when a certain link is clicked. Is there a way to do this with JSP? Actually...is there a way to do this not using JavaScript?

Thanks for your time,
b

No.

Using the target attribute on the link can achieve opening the link in another window, but you have no control over the window size or other properties of the window. For that, you need to use the Javascript window.open() method.

No Javascript == no client-side control. Pure and simple.
