if we set bean scope to <b> page </b> and , will the bean be available once refresh the page ?

No, "page" refers to the actual JSP page being interpreted as part of the response sent back to the client. As further info, "request" refers to the entire request, which may consist of many different "pages". And session refers to the set of requests. Application refers to the entire thing.

So: application->session->request->page.
