Dynamic Drop down menu

I need to design an HTML page wherein i am required to dyamically populate the drop down menu by reading information from a .INF File. Could any one suggest the web technology that provides support for this. Also let me know if I could use JSP to meet the above requirement. Your help would be sincerely appreciated.

it all depends on the format of the file...
If it's XML you can use the JSTL XML tags to simply loop through the file and build the menu.
If it's a different format, you'll need some other mechanism (a servlet or bean would do it) to read in the data and present it to a JSTL standard loop tag.
