Spammer? Speaking of which, how does JavaRanch eliminate random spammers in general? Is there some kind of automated tool or blacklist, or is it solely the diligence of the moderators?

No fun, where's the machine learning tool that you can train to automatically mark potentially bad posts?

And not only will it learn to block bad junk posts, but it will learn our language and become our friend. And of course he'll befriend a 5 year old girl and eat chocolate candy... no wait that's ET.

Personally I prefer the AI from 'War Games'. It could figure out how to declare nuclear war on Russia, but not realize that tic-tac-toe was unbeatable... ah technology in the 80s. Wow, I think I just upgraded this post to meaningless drivel.
