I'm quite new to J2EE please bear with me...My question is what is the difference between <jsp:forward ="relative url" > and using RequestDispatcher? When do you use one over the other? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question

<jsp:forward page="relativeUrl" /> does the exact same thing as -

Use the jsp:forward tag if you are using JSP, and RequestDispatcher if you are using servlets... there's not really a difference.

Rinky,

I'm not really sure what kind of problem you're having... If it's a problem with posting on JavaRanch, you should post in the forum named JavaRanch on this site. That forum covers site specific issues. If you're having problems with your email... you should contact your ISP.
