In a JSP page, how do you use a stand-alone class?

If I try to include the class, a compile error occurs.
If I try to simply use it, the symbol cannot be resolved.

The .class file is under the WEB-INF directory. It is a 3rd party class, so it cannot be modified.

Generally it's best to show the error than to just say "errors occurred".

Is the class in a package other than the default? If not, the class loader may not be able to find it. If so, make sure that you put it in the proper folder hiearchy for the package.
