I have quite complex requirement to build a tree. The tree would be a customer-account-service centric - meaning a customer can have several accounts under it, and an account can have either child accounts or services under it. The tree will have only one customer as the root. The customer, account, and service would also have to display icons to indicate the status. This can be achieved easily by javascript. I've used before several tree code from treeview.net and www.treemenu.net. Potentially, there could be a problem, when I have 4-level depth of account and the child accounts can be more than 100-200. In that case, I have to do "tree pagination". Now I have to mix the javascript tree with java scriplets in my jsp. I wonder whether some of you done this before or perhaps you know some available code out there for this kinda requirements. Thank you in advance.
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
