I hava two jsp pages named "a.jsp" and "b.jsp" .There are a select whose name and Id are both "aSelect" in a.jsp, and aSelect has no options;also there are a select whose name and Id are both "bSelect" in b.jsp, and bSelect has 3 options which are all selected.
My problem is how to write a function for a button's onClick event. In the function I want aSelect has the same option as in bSelect and I need the option in aSelect selected.
How to do the job?I need your help

I'm not exactly sure what you meant. But I think you need the help of Javascript. There're a couple of useful scripts at the link there which I used quite often for my work.

Hope this helps.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
