Hi Friends,
I've search the Forums for this topic but found most posts where outdated. Basically, I'm wondering what is the best way to allow a user to upload files?

Apparently, I'll need a third-party package to do so?

If you've done this sort of thing before, I'd greatly appreciate some advice/direction.

Thanks!

You can either use a 3rd party package (I've used the com.oreilly.servlets package in the past) or parse the multi-part form on your own. It's not that hard, especially if you've dealt with multi-part mail or other mime stuff, but why bother when someone else will do it for you?

(Be sure your on-page form specifies the correct enctype attribute. That trips people up a lot.)
