Searching Sucks

When searching for something I find it really awkward having to search for the same keyword in every forum (should be 'topic'). Is there no way to do a Site wide search?

Use google with site:saloon.javaranch.com specified.
We had a site search ages ago, but it was too heavy and now Goggle does it for us so why bother?

You can use Google to do a fairly good search of this forum, just add site:saloon.javaranch.com to the search, like this:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Asaloon.javaranch.com+the+moose

Perhaps you could put a little form on the search page which would do just that so we dont have leave javaranch just to come back.. ?

We had a Google search form at the bottom of every page in the saloon for a short period of time and Paul Wheaton asked me to remove it.
