hi everybody,
i have a jsp, which visualise a picture and an image-map, the links ,on the imagemap refer to the same jsp. somtime the browser (mozilla) displays a 2000 at first and then only html-code like:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="expires" content="0">
<title>
resultMethod
</title>
<link href="/gelcali/styles/liststyle.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" title="ss1" />
</head>
...

and at last a 0. the 2000 ocuurs also at other positions in the code.
what happened???

The text before the doctype deslaration causes the browser to interpret all of it as plain text.

Put your code inside <HTML></HTML> tag..
