Hello, I have trouble with the 'email reply notification' setting. I remember checking to receive them at first, but now I have stopped getting the notifications, and a I can't find where to reactivate them. Where do I go to do that?

You don't activate them globally, you turn them on for a particular thread. When you start a thread, there's a checkbox on the editing page (scroll down; it's down there near "Disable smilies"). Select that checkbox, and you'll get notifications of replies.
