Hi there

I am working on a Unix server running a Tomcat.

But now I would like to build a jsp-page who can greate copies of files easy for "non-technical" users.

Something where an user can browse/drill down to a folder, and then be presented to alle files located in this folder.
Then they can select the files using checkboxes and finally choose/browse/drill down to the place where the want the files copiet to

The first problem, and proberly the biggest problem, I have if how to find a folder on the server.
Can this be done on unix - and how ???

The Java mechanism for working with directories and files is all built into the java.io.File class. There is a nice discussion comparing Unix and Windows in the JavaDocs for File - you should start there.
