When i try to set an HTTPSession to null using session.invalidate() i am getting an IllegalStateException.Can anyone tell me the reason and how to solve this??

Hi Anila,
One possibility is that your session is already expired by the time you are
trying to invalidate, (or may be it was never set to true)
Check on that part.

one reason i know is the same. your session is already invalidated. double check it.

If the session is already invalidated,how can i check that?

dont know any of that method. but when you get the exception, IllegalStateException, it means session has already been invalidated. this way we will know.

we can get notification by using listener.
