Hi,
I have Tomcat 5.0.28 installed in a RHEL 3 WS machine, and allow user directory public_html in USERHOME.

I put some single JSP pages in public_html DIR and they all worked fine.

However, if I put 3 JSP pages in public_html with the 2nd and 3rd pages getting same session value from page 1, then the session value of last page gets is always null. But the session value of the 2nd page gets is fine.

If I put more JSP pages after the 3rd page to get the same value, it will be always null.

The funny thing is, if I put them in the root webapps folder. Then they all works fine.

So could anyone tell me why this happens in the public_html directory?

TIA

Hi,
I am a JSP newbie and I don't have a clue what you mentioned about.

I only changed the following config option against the default ones:

<Listener className="org.apache.catalina.startup.UserConfig"
directoryName="public_html"
homeBase="/home"
userClass="org.apache.catalina.startup.PasswdUserDatabase"/>

The rest are all default.

Hope this helps.
