Hi
Iam getting a very stange display problem with jsp.
I Have an error obj which is containing list of error msgs.
To display them iam doing this.

<table>
<thead>
<tr>
<th>-----------------------------------</th>
<%
List errList = new ArrayList();
String message = "";
ErrorObj objError = null;
if( request.getAttribute("FIELDERRORS") != null ){
System.out.println("MAGIC");
out.print("MAGIC");
%>
<th>**********************************</th>
<%}
%>
</tr>
</thead>
</table>

But....,
iam just seeing ----------------------------------- on the UI.
but no display coming up which is after the stmt even thouhgh the other s.o.ps getting printed to the console.

***** if( request.getAttribute("FIELDERRORS") != null ){

iam able to c 'MAGIC' coming from system.out
but, out and <th> s not showing ne thing.

Platform : Windows,browser :firefox, webserver : tomcat5.0

"Raju VGS",

We're pleased to have you here with us on the Ranch, but there are a few rules that need to be followed, and one is that proper names are required. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Thanks!
