I'm using JSP with oracle 9iAS, oracle 8.1.7 database.

A centrally placed server is accesed from 17 locations.

Now I'm getting a frequent problem of session interchange / timeouts.

Since the pages are dynamic, many a times previous page is shown instead of the new one.

I'm unable to understand wether this problem is of the browser cache or a server side cache problem.

Hi ,
why dont u check the browser settings .

check for the following setting in IE (if your browser is IE)

IE->Tools->Internet Options->Temporary Internet Files->Settings->Check for Newer Versions of Stored pages

This should be set to 'Automatically' or 'Every Visit to the Page'

try it out.

cheers,
Raj
