Is it possible to generate any digital certificates through any tools, for running jsp's in SSL.

Or Can any one tell me the steps involved in it.

Your Java installation should include "keytool" - a utility for creating and manipulating certificates.
Here is Sun's tutorial on keytool.
Configuring your server to use SSL is going to be server specific.

If using Tomcat. It has "Configuring your server to use SSL" in its docs.

Ikeyman is the utility in IBM SERVER for genrating dummy certifcate

And here is a gui version of keytool. Much friendlier version of command-line tool.
