call your doPost() in your doGet() method inside your servlet.
doGet() is the default behaviour.

cheers.

browsers will ONLY submit a POST request when you have an html form that gives POST as its submission system and you submit that form.

"javasavvy",
We're light on rules here at the JavaRanch, but one we take particularly seriously is the the one about display names. You can read all about it here.

Basically we require your display name to be two words: your first name, a space, then your last name. Fictitious names are not allowed.

Please edit your profile and select a valid display name, since accounts with invalid display names get deleted, often without warning.

thanks,
Dave.
