A 500 error will occur if your Servlet or JSP either cannot be compiled, or trhows an uncaught exception during execution.

In this particular case, the first line of the stack trace:
    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/xerces/dom/DocumentImpl
indicates that the servlet container cannot find the class org.apache.xerces.dom.DocumentImpl which is needed by your JSP.

Based on the class that it is listing, you need the Apache Xerces-J library. You need to include that library's JAR file in your Servlet Container's classpath. If you are using a web application and following its standard deployment directory hierarchy, that can be done by simply placing the xerces JAR in the /WEB-INF/lib directory.

FER: I've started to comment on this in your other thread.

People will get annoyed and not want to help you if you ask the same question in multiple places..
