how to find the size of web page

I am finding some difficulty in in finding a page size,using a html parser i am able to extract the textual content and image in the page,but now how will i fing the size of the extracted text,and the image...........
plz somebody help....

how about response.getHeader("content-length")

You do realize that the the text, and each image will be separate requests and response's, right?
