Passing value from JApplet to Jsp page

How can i pass a value that is entered in a JTextArea in a JApplet and fetch the entered value from JTextArea and display it in a JSP page.

It would be kindful if someone could help me with this problem.

The applet needs to send the data to the server (perhaps using something as simple as the showDocument() method) and the server-side code (i.e., a servlet, or the JSP itself) then needs to store this data somewhere that the JSP code can get at it.

This is a fairly basic web-architecture question; I'm going to move it to the JSP forum, although it could reasonably go in servlets or applets, as well. In any case, I'm sure folks in the JSP forum will be happy to provide you with more details.
