I am looking to "rev-up" my resume but don't know which resume writing company to turn to. I've looked at Monster.com's services -- look good. Did anybody use them? Any info on other services?

thanks,
Alex

One possible option... if you live anywhere near your old college, you might be able to pop into the career services office for help. Most US colleges do have the office open to alumni--although at a lower priority than for current students (but since it's summmer...).

Yes I know, but when I was in college I used Alumni services and wasn't too impressed by them. That's why I want to inquire about other servies like monster.com and alike.

I know a few people who have paid to have their CV done, but the results weren't worth the cost.

I would say use the experience and knowledge of everyone on these boards. The results will be better and cheaper.

good luck.
