Hi All,

I'm working on a JSP app and I need all the pages to be able to use a common error page. When I add the "error-page" tags to my web.xml and rebuild the project (IBM WSAD 5.1.2) WSAD displays an "error" icon in its outline pane for each error page I add. It does not matter whether I add it using WSAD's GUI or type it in manually.
When I run the jsp page in IE 6.0x, I get a javascript syntax error. My scripting debugger takes me to the "head" HTML tag in the jsp.
If I take the "error-page" tags out of the web.xml, I can run the page without any errors. Note that the error occurs even when I don't hit an error condition. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Phil

What WS could possibly be doing to cause Javasciprt errors on the page resulting from a setting in web.xml is quite beyond me. Since this is quite WS-specific, moved to that forum.
