One of our clients reported a problem while experiencing overall slowness when using the system. JSP pages would display server interperted HTML code of a JSP when trying to reach it. Does anyone know why this is happening. I don't think it's a server issue. Any ideas?

thanks,
Alex

Sounds like the content-type header is not being send properly.
Can you post the JSP?

I don't send content type, just start with <html> and so on.

Should I send <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">. But I thought server should decide on content type.

If you're not explicitly setting it, it should default to text/html.

Is this only happening for one client? They may have changed the associations in their browser.

If you haven't already, download and install Mozilla/Firefox and then get the http live headers plugin
http://livehttpheaders.mozdev.org/

With it, you'll be able to see exactly what headers are being sent from the server.
