Many people ask about Manning's SCWCD Study Kit.
The review at the ranch is about the old first edition.
Could any reviewers update it to the Second Edition ?
Comparing to the currect review:
1. There is no more CD bundled, no electronic copyu of the book
2. The author's website is no good. Nobody answers. Have a look:
http://www.manning-sandbox.com/forum.jspa?forumID=54 3. The errata is not properly updated. We have to go through the all forum to check for errors spotted by other owners.
4. You'll have to print out the DTDs from the official spec, because those in the book are for the old exam !!
I do not consider the Second Edition to be good, and would not recommend it, unless Manning corrects it.
It's just been a quick and dirty update, not even complete, for the new exam. A shame. (By the way, I own other Manning's book, and like them very much)
