Hi

I m working on a survey execution tool which enables people to create, edit and delete surveys. After a user has created a survey he can edit it. For editing, I have a jsp form which contains the values which he fills out while creation. I am facing a strange problem. When I go back and forth between this page and the previous for a couple of times and when I get back to this page the third time, all the information in this page is lost. Is it because of the Httpsessions? How can I prevent this?

Thanks in advance
Meenakshi

It would depend on how you are persisting this data across requests.
Without a good explaination of this or your source code, it is impossible for us to say.

More than likely your data is being lost in the request. If it was in the session, it'd still be there unless your session expires, you reset the data, or you explicitely remove it. Values in the request are only maintained for the duration of one page call.
