How is the Job Market for new graduates? Am I the only one having difficulty stepping in? My experience is that even the open source projects are reluctant to take fresh graduates.

Since there are many experienced guys also looking for jobs, unless you are exceptional these are tough times for new grads to land in a lucrative job.

You can always startoff by doing your own stuff(own opensource project), volunteer or work as a intern to get the much needed experience.
