Hi all,

Recently it has been decided that a project I am working on is going to be moving from Java to .NET, however I would like the frontend will remain as JSPs (as ASP seems pretty limited).

I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good site to brush up on usign JSPs with .net (predominantly C#)?

I know the .net thing is obviously not a part of the site (being the JAVAranch) but thought someone might be able to help, nether the less.

Cheers.

I think you have your technologies mixed up

ASP is not ASP.NET and .NET is not limited.....

By "not limited" are you saying that JSP pages can be run under .NET?
I've worked with ASP and ASP.NET. I know that .NET supports the syntaxes of many languages but I'm not aware of any capability within .NET to run JSPs.

I think Eric is just defending .NET in general. I don't think he means .NET can render JSP. I think Eric and Jeroen conspire together to turn this into .NET Ranch at times.

Running a little slow today.
Had I re-read the original post, I would have understood Eric's meaning.
And.. I agree, asp.net is much more advanced than legacy ASP.

I thought Jeroen was alone in that quest
