I am reading Head First Servlets & JSP to prepare for the web component exam.
I am trying to implement the custom tag handler example on page 469 (chapter 9). I cannot locate the javax.servlet.jsp.tagext.SimpleTagSupport class which I need to extend. It is not in the jstl.jar or standard.jar or servlet-api.jar.

Any ideas?

Ah yes, it was there all the time. I just hadn't included that jar in my Eclipse Java build path.

Thanks a heap Bear!

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
