hai ,
I am in a great confusion regarding EL and JSTL.Can somebody tell me whether we are using EL and JSTL in developing projects or we are studying it only for the sake of Certification. And also I found EL and JSTL are server dependent because JBOSS 4.0.2 is not supporting EL and JSTL .
Please explain me whether we are using only normal JSP for development or EL & JSTL are also used in development purpose?
Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Udhaya

Its widely used in current j2ee application.
Dont study anything for the sake of certification, IMO.

JSTL is a java specification, its not server dependent.
JBOSS 4.0.2 may not support it, so ? Later versions, Iam sure, do or will do.

cheers,
ram.

udhaya,
Posting the same questions in multiple forums is called cros-posting and is considered rude. It wastes the time of the people who are trying to help you.

The barkeeps are pretty quick here.
Just ask one and they'll move it for you.
