Hi all,

I have a problem with JavaBeans and sessions. Basically I have written a small system, which when a user logs in creates a JavvaBean with scope="session".

This 'SessionBean' is used to store the user's ID, name, etc which it gets from a SQL DB. This in turn is used to decide what the user can or can not do within the syste,.

The probelm is, for some reason, my sessionBean has started to drop its ID as soon as I click on a link to another page, which in turn is killing the system. Now no code has changed to cause this, so I can only think of a IE bug/option causing it.

I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this and what can be done about it.

Cheers

KS

Make sure that brower's allow session cookies setting is enabled.
In MSIE it somewhere under the Privacy Tab -> Advanced section, I think.
