I am getting the following error when I click the back navigation button for IE

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

i did the following:

1) <META HTTP-EQUIV="CACHE-CONTROL" CONTENT="PUBLIC">
2) <%
response.setHeader("Cache-Control","private"); //HTTP 1.1
response.setHeader("Pragma","private"); //HTTP 1.0
%>

it did not solve my problem.

Thanks in advance

Puthriah,
What do you want to happen? You told IE not to cache the page in your scriplets. So IE has to show a message about the page not being available.

I want the page to display the contents when I click on the back button.

Appreciate if you correct my scriplet and advise

When I changed the scriplet from private to public and also I wrote no-cache in filters. I removed that and is working fine.

Thanks a lot for finding my mistake.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
