Hey All,

We have a custom tag that accepts a input parameter.

Problem is , we do not have the property available to us straightforward.

If the property has to have the value as testing100, testing is a constant string and 100 is a number available in request. We have this custom tag called from a loop and the number 100 would vary as we look through..

But when i have the code like this, JSP does not recognize the custom tag at all..

Any help will be appreciated

No that is not valid syntax; you cannot nest an action (tag) within another.

If you are using JSP 2.0, you don't need the <cut> in any case -- just use the EL expression.
