Hello All,

I am currently working as a Oracle Middle Tier Administrator, but I have interest in both network security and DBA work. I don't have any network experience, but I have two years in oracle development. Would it be best that I pursue the DBA route and become certified? I really don't want to become certified, if my chances are slim to get a dba position. Would it be worth it to pursue this profession these days? I really have'nt found any other middle tier postions,I'm guessing that responsibility belongs to most dba's. Any help would be appreciated.
