I have 3 frames: header, tree, and main for displaying page content and the main frame is controlled by a .jsp that contains navigation and such. My problem is, I am calling a static page and when I load it into the page, I lose the controlling .jsp. How can I ensure I load this page into the the frame that is controlled by the jsp?

Of course when you load a page into any window, be it a frame or otherwise, it replaces the page that was there before. Whether the pages are generated by JSP or static is a completely moot point.

But I feel that your question is actually more complicated than that, but I'm not sure what the issue really is. Could you be more specific?
