jsp page translation time  RSS feed

As we all know that first time a jsp page is requested ,it takes time when compared to next requests to that corresponding page.Is there any technique through where we can reduce time taken for initial request?

You could pre-compile the JSPs. There is no standard means of doing this, so see the documentation for your container for details.

Failing that, write a script that 'hits' each JSP page right after server startup.
