Hello ,
I am doing the project which is based on voice capturing , i developed this using javax.sound.sampled class in jsp in tomcat server.

Our Project needs client server communication . Here i am getting voice from microphone of server system, even though it is running at the client side. How can we recognise microphone of client system.

If i do same project through applet it is running but the file is storing at client side. Here i have some problem with retriving file from the server . please give me solution.

thank u

this is the problem kindly give me some solution.

There is nothing in JSP for doing this.
If you have FireFox, install the LiveHttpHeaders plugin, and you will be able to see exactly what information the browser sends to the server.

If you're using signed applets, you will have more access to the client's machine. You might want to ask to have this thread moved to the Applets forum.
