How to get Internet Explorer Properties in JSP/Servlet

Hello all,

i want to read IE properties and settings in my jsp file.if any one have idea about it please tell me or send me url for docs.

Can you do such a thing in JSP ?
JSP/Servlet is not supposed to be related to browser settings.

It's really interesting me too. But ... just one question! How are you going to get web client properties from server program?

p.s.: only header information is available for you.

What do you mean by "IE properties"? I have no idea.

But whatever they are, it's likely that they are something that you'll need Javascript to read.

hello,

instead of jsp/servlet can i get it in javascript or applet then it can also work for me. in my application i want to just check whether client has installed JRE or not,if it is there then witch virsion is there.
