Thanking in advance,

You could have a default index page for your application by setting it up in web.xml.

[CODE]
<default-page>
<uri>/index.jsp</uri>
</default-page>
/CODE]

If you do not mention any page in your URL, default index page will be displayed.

Thanks
Chandu

What is this default-page tag ?? It's not part of the specification.
I would not recommend using some proprietary stuff.

There is no <default-page> element in the web.xml xsd. Perhaps you meant <welcome-file-list>?

Yes welcome-file-list should work.

But you need to do something more to limit the user to access your app through the home page, means no direct links. You can use login mechanism for that. Or you can map every request to that particular page.
